PlayTV is an additional peripheral available by Sony for the Sony PlayStation 3.  PlayTV allows PS3 owners to view, record, and pause live TV.  PlayTV plugs directly into one of the PS3’s USB ports and allows you to watch free to air television broadcasts on your PS3, further enhancing the PS3 as a home entertainment center.  Not only can you watch, pause, and record live TV broadcasts, you can also record a program on one channel while watching a different channel.  If you also happen to own a PlayStation Portable, you can take all of the wonderful features with you wherever you go.  By using the Remote Play function on your PSP, you can connect to any wireless network, then view live TV broadcasts in superb quality.  With PlayTV, you also have access to a large TV program guide, so you can view upcoming TV shows and choose to record them to your PS3’s hard drive.
